Anthony's Townhouse

We came to Boston in a hurry because of a family medical emergency. We couldn't find a hotel and with the assistance of the manager at the Hamilton we found this home from home, run by the wonderful Albert and Barbara. For the next three days they were kindness itself to us, waiting up for us, checking that we had what we needed. Despite our situation we found this beautifully restored house stylish, tasteful and affordable. Close to the tram in Brookline, which is a wonderful neighborhood. We couldn't say enough good things about the owners, their compassion outweighed the need to run a business. Ww have found our go to place and have recommended it to everyone we have talked to. Look forward to the opportunity to stay in this warm home again, hopefully soon

The building was beautiful, the rooms were well furnished and spotless, and the hosts, Arthur and Barbara, were more than gracious. Our stay was memorable, and we look forward to staying here again.

Beautiful home. Meticulously cared for. Decor is in excellent condition. The room has a window air-conditioner when needed or outside air. Fire escape access. Bed a little hard for our preference, but slept great! Shared bathroom is in wonderful condition. Newer sink, tub, toilet. Electrical upgrades have been done. Sprinkler system in place. Owners very nice. We would like to stay here again next time we plan to be in Boston. The T, Green Line, is available in the middle between the streets. Easy walking distance to Fenway Park. Nice restaurant nearby, the Busy Bee. We had a nice breakfast & the staff were very attentive. Summary: we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful brownstone on the red line in Brookline! Walking distance to Fenway and 10 minutes to downtown. Great diner across the street and a Whole Foods. A fantastic French bakery and Thai restaurant down the block. We recently had our second visit to Anthony's. Barbara and Arthur are great hosts. The rooms are large and impeccably decorated. Amazingly clean. It has shared bathrooms per floor but wasn't a problem. There was also access to a refrigerator. Love this place and will stay here again and again and again!

I stayed at Anthony's Townhouse for more than 2 months. I really loved the owners' of the place before the place itself. The room is very spacious and the decorate is so unique and different from any placed I stayed in the US. Also, the location is right next to the train station. I really loved the design and decorate of the room. Barbra and Arthur, I cannot thank you enough and I wish you all the best.
