Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown

Location was great. Easy to get to. Vallet was great. View from the room was great. Lobby and Atmosphere was great. Service and front desk was great. Pool is small but clean. Rooms were small but doable. Beds were small but okay. The cleanliness of the room could be worked on a little bit. Desperately needs a good dusting and deep cleaning. |We stayed for a hockey tournament and the hotel took care of us giving us a designated room to have knee hockey in and hang out, they also had hockey decorations at the front desk. I loved that so much. Most places dread hockey teams coming but they were so welcoming to us and I was so thankful for that! |All in all I loved staying here and it surpassed my expectations. Thank you for a great weekend!

Positive: The hotel was in a great location. Although the hotel only has valet parking there is reasonable overnight parking close by. Negative: The mattress was very uncomfortable - both hard and with a huge dip in the middle. The bathroom door didn't work well. The shower design was terrible so that it leaked all over the bathroom floor.

This hotel does not provide housekeeping unless you stay minimum 4 nights, which is crazy. We stayed three nights for a conference, and the third day we ask if we could get housekeeping, they say it’s minimum 4 nights they give one housekeeping service. What do you mean hotel does not provide housekeeping? Wild times man. Not a bad location but the heating did not work AT ALL - it was 68 the whole stay no matter how cold it gets. The valet for SUV is almost $60.

The man checking us in was very kind and thorough. The valet gents were quick and kind. The location was nice. Our room door broke so we were unable to enter for over an hour nearing the end of the stay. The sliding bathroom door for a family was awfully loud so during the night was unfortunate. There were very large yellow stains on the undercover, some brown /red stains on the blanket. The room was pretty warm and there wasn't a cool option / ac on the themostat. We ran out of toilet paper. The mini fridge was unplugged when we arrived with some perishables, so we had things sitting out before being able to put them in the fridge. The entire experience was overall a 2/5 for us.

We stay here whenever we come to Pittsburgh! The rooms are nice and the location is fantastic! We park the car then walk to everywhere we want to go from restaurants to shopping and hockey games to football games! The best though is their service! The staff are always friendly and smiling! I have never once had an issue that they didn't immediately take care of! I highly recommend!
