Homewood Suites by Hilton Pittsburgh Downtown

Great stay at Homewood Suites! One of the best parts of the hotel was the complimentary breakfast. They had a nice variety of both hot and cold options, including eggs, sausage, potatoes, oatmeal, fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, and good coffee. Everything was fresh and the breakfast area was clean and well organized. It’s a great perk because you can start the day with a full meal without leaving the hotel. Definitely a good value for families or business travelers.

Shauni at the front desk was helpful and attentive. Came up with multiple suggestions for things to do in the area, including places to eat. The hotel is within walking distance of a variety of attractions, including PPG Arena, Heinz museum and the Pirates Stadium. The breakfast was excellent; they even had pulled pork and 24 x 7 complimentary coffee and tea. The room was clean and came with a full-size refrigerator, as well as microwave, stove, sink, dishwasher, silverware and dishes. Located within the Strip District, we were able to walk to all attractions and leave the car in the parking garage. Parking comes with a nightly fee.

Great hotel with new facility. Room was spacious. Front desk was very friendly. Firepit at night brings good atmosphere. Swimming pool was nice. Brought our dog with us, and we all enjoyed our time together! ||Garage space for parking was competitive (outdoor parking was available if no space in garage). Garage door was very narrow to get in. Saw many scratch marks on the side of the wall.

The service is superb Every member of the staff made you feel welcome and cared about. Shauni was able to find me a room hours before expected check in and her counterparts at the front desk were always cheerful and helpful. excellent value for the room rate as well

I am a resident of the Strip district and love living down here. Unfortunately last week my apartment flooded in the middle of the night and my dog and I were left without a place to stay. The Homewood suites was the closest dog friendly hotel I could find. I had no expectations whatsoever because I just needed a (dry) roof over our heads. But, the bar was set so high from my experience at Homewood. Despite it being a dog friendly hotel, you’d never know. It is so clean and doesn’t smell like dog at all (I say as a loving dog owner). The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. Great complimentary breakfast in the morning. And overall the vibe of the hotel is so calm enjoyable. Not to mention it is in a great location for those from out of town who want to experience the city. I can’t recomm
