Wyndham Garden Pittsburgh Airport

The terrible location (no lighting, potholes, literally nothing in walking distance, etc.) gives you an idea as you head in. Once you round the corner, you're greeted with a HUGE chunk of concrete taken out of the front entrance with debris and exposed materials above on the overhang. BTW, this is not just a temporary thing. This has been this way for at least 3 months. You walk in to essentially darkness in the lobby (saving on electricity?). It definitely gives a creepy vibe. The office staff seems indifferent and hard to locate at times. The “bar area” has never been operational since I've been there, nor has the breakfast the staff member said begins at 0600. Lies. This was a last-minute getaway, and unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was disappointing. I had difficulty finding accommodations. Unbeknownst to me there was a Pittsburgh Steelers home game the weekend of my trip, so options were limited. I stayed for two nights, but if another hotel had been available, I would have checked out early.||The property is located at the back of a business park with minimal lighting, which made it difficult to locate at night. The road leading to the hotel is in noticeably poor condition, with multiple potholes and cracks, and uneven pavement. It gives a poor first impression before even reaching the hotel. Positive: The front desk staff was friendly when I checked in. Negative: Hotel is ancient and location is isolated and creepy. I did not feel safe in the hotel going to 2nd floor room. Felt unsettled in room and didn't sleep much. Will not return.

11/14/25 stay. No hotel shuttle… should have been the first red flag. Got to the hotel and asked the girl at the front desk if the rooms had refrigerators… Her Response, “I don’t know”. Okay, well I have fresh foods I neee to keep cold. Is there a freezer in the back so I can freeze my ice packs?… Her response… -“I don’t know”. Went to my room, discovered they do have refrigerators. Come back down, let the young lady know they do in fact have refrigerators but no freezers. She took my ice packs and said there was a freezer in the back. Came down stairs at 6:00 this morning and nobody was at the desk. There was a sign stating someone was helping another guest. Waited around for TWENTY minutes and nobody ever showed. ⚠️ Warning about this place! Booked through Priceline for Aug 2025, but they denied us a room saying 3rd-party bookings aren't guaranteed and Wyndham members come first. Left, but still got charged. Priceline dragged their feet, saying they were waiting on the hotel, and by the time they responded, disputing the charge was a no-go. Asked for proof of stay, and they gave a random room number. Manager didn't budge, even when they checked and saw the card wasn't ours. Still waiting on receipt and ID – nothing 🙅. Definitely think twice before booking 🙅. Got a response... Jan 27 ( after posting the review) see what Hotel come up with. Claiming someone with my name (Garima) stayed at the hotel is wild, especially since it's not common in the USA 🙅. No signed docs, video, or any proof. And I nev
