WoodSpring Suites Lafayette

I stayed at WoodSpring Suites Lafayette on January 5, 2026, with my parents and my dog. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience and not what we expected at all.||When we arrived, there was only one employee at the front desk, which I understand. However, despite having a full lobby of guests waiting to check in, the employee chose to stay on a phone call instead of assisting the people who were clearly waiting. This immediately set a negative tone for the stay.||While waiting, I informed the employee that I had a reservation and politely asked if I could use the restroom on the ground floor due to an emergency. I was told that they “do not have bathrooms for guests,” which was both surprising and unacceptable for a hotel.||The employee’s attitude throughout the interaction

Before arriving, I read some of the past reviews of this place and they weren't pretty. I have been here for a few days now and have no complaints. Our room was clean and the staff is super attentive and friendly. We'll be staying a few weeks and are very happy with that decision.

Positive: Watching TV Negative: It's by an airport & by train tracks. Doesn't matter what room you are in you will hear everything from air planes taking off to trains to kids running down the hall a floor above or below, beds uncomfortable and rooms stink.

Don't do it. Its so much wrong with this hotel. My sheets weren't clean & the topper smelled horrible. The room smelled like stale smoke. We brought food to cook but the room didnt have pots, pans, or utensils. The toilet seat was coming off & the kitchen drain was clogged. THE BED WAS SO UNCOMFORTABLE. All i felt was the springs. U only get two thin pillows. These rooms should be $5 a night.

overall don’t do it.. stayed one night & you literally are getting what you paid for. room smells like smoke, i hear damn near everything going on in other people rooms. i was on the first floor so i hear people stomping above me like im an apartment complex. you’d do better at a hilton or something that’s not too cheap. i wanted to go to another hotel instead but this hotel doesn’t offer refunds so i had no choice but to stay.
