Holiday Inn & Suites Lafayette North by IHG

My wife and I stayed here during our visit to Lafayette from Texas. The location is a little tucked away, but the quiet relaxed vibes of the hotel make up for that. The staff was very inviting and friendly. The entrance with the grand stairwell and the open concept into the restaurant & bar was visually appealing. The front desk had plenty of suggestions for things to do here, from the best foods, activities, and nightlife. It's only a 5 minute or so drive to anything you'd need in the area with a convenience store close by, so no searching to get gas. Wished we visited the heated indoor pool but next time...we will. Its very clean, the rooms are nice and cozy. The bar has a very tasty Passion fruit drink that I highly recommend. Overall, a great stay.

We stayed for two nights. Chad checked us in. He was great super friendly. Our second night here he went above and beyond for another guest who ran out of gas. Plus when we accidentally forgot our keys inside our room he quickly came upstairs and let us in. Chad was awesome!! He definitely made our stay here more enjoyable and relaxing. Not to mention Phil the bartender last night he knew had a bad day and he listened and was an absolute joy. Tasha our breakfast hostess was super friendly and made sure we had a cold drink and a coffee to go. Thank you to everybody who help make this business trip a pleasant time!!

Positive: The lady at the front desk was exceptionally sweet and helpful Negative: The curtains did not close at all no matter how hard I tried to close them. I’ve stayed here several times and have never encountered this issue.

So nice we stayed twice! The staff, service, food, and cleanliness made our emergency stop during a storm a great experience. We extended our stay for another day just because we were so happy with everything. Do yourself a favor, spring for the breakfast! It was like $13 per person and it was worth it. We were the first ones up. They offered healthy options like yogurt with fresh fruit along with rich and delicious made-upon-request waffles. I noticed there wasn’t a lot of breakfast photos, so I uploaded some along with dinner. There’s also a pretty nice gym space which was clean and stocked up with plenty of towels. I was a leader for a group tour that stopped at the hotel to and from San Antonio. The hotel was great. Very clean and comfortable. A highlight of the stay was the breakfast service. There were a variety of items for all diets, and Tasha and Nelson were awesome! All of my folks were very complimentary of them.
