La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lafayette Oil Center

Overall the hotel was clean. The lobby was decorated for Mardi and the room was clean. We met four different front desk staff and they were pleasant to interact with. Location was good for our activities. Unfortunately one key reason we chose this place over others was the indoor/outdoor heated pool that was listed as available. In fact, it was not. No sign at the desk, no sign on the pool door and nothing posted online. Our room needed the doors adjusted. The bathroom door won't close due to misalignment and our room door slams shut which could be potentially dangerous to small children.

I was in the hospital there. My girlfriend and our Zena stayed at the hotel. It was conveniently located one block from the hospital. The breakfast evey morning 6 til 9 was delicious. Eggs, sausage,waffles ,juice,fruit, hot and cold cereal and fresh fruit. And good Ole community coffee was on point. The staff was very helpful with extending our stay since I didn't know exactly how long I was going to be in hospital. We will definitely stay at this Laquinta again. Hopefully it will be under better circumstances. . Lynn

Positive: The hotel is very affordable. Negative: This hotel didn't appear to be vacuumed in the hallway. The bathroom door would not open and close without great force applied. The a/c wall unit was not hard to read and needed to be replaced. The breakfast was not as good as other La Quintas.

Comfortable room and the service is on point. The staff is friendly and courteous as well. Shout-out to Anna for helping me warm my coffee up today. I would recommend staying here if your passing thru Lafayette.

My husband and I will only stay at LaQuinta Hotel this location is our FAVORITE!! When we are visiting Lafayette, La this is our home away from home. Also the fragrance as soon as you walk in and throughout the hotel smells sooo good! I LOVE it! Thanks so much for always taking such excellent care of us your hospitality service is 5 stars!!
