Wolf Lodge Campground

Overall this campground is not terrible. I have stayed in worse. But I have stayed in much better too for the same price. The staff was helpful and friendly. The close proximity to the highway didn't bother me, I sleep pretty soundly.||BUT...if you are going to continue to rent out cabins at this time of the year (October), you MUST insulate the cabins, heat the cabins, or both! I FROZE!||Your staff kindly lent me a portable oil space heater, but it didn't do much in such a large space. It really didn't warm the cabin up, all it did was make it a little less cold! Your staff was also cold inside the office, as that building is also uninsulated and unheated. ||The second morning when I woke up, AFTER using your space heater and also buying one of my own from Walmart...it was only 43 degrees

I love everything about this campground. The staff was amazing, the grounds are clean with lots of trees and their amenities are great for all ages. The only down fall is the location being right next to I-90. The roar of the highway is loud during the day and dies down at night so we kinda got used to it. Definitely try their sauna!!! It is such a nice amenity.

This is a nice campground with a wonderful off leash area for dogs. The challenge is the bridge to get into the campground. Large rigs simply can’t make the sharp left hand turn, the road and driveway are not wide enough. We witnessed a pickup pulling a trailer run into the cement jersey barrier trying to get onto the narrow one lane bridge. We had a similar challenge ourselves but narrowly avoided hitting the concrete jerseys barrier.

We LOVED our experience at Wolf Lodge. Eric and his staff were super friendly and went above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating. The cabin we stayed in was cute, clean, and better than we even thought it might be. The grounds were clean and tidy with some activities for our kids. Our son loved casting his line into the stream that ran through the property. Right outside of the campground, the views were incredible with lots of opportunities for hiking and other activities. In fact, the staff gave us a very detailed list of several of the hikes and what to expect for each. Overall, just a great place for our family to experience Idaho!

I stayed in a tent site, T24 I think. My vehicle had some issues after the first night and your staff helped me get it up and running. Additionally, the young landy that was working the front when I checked in was cheerful and helpful.||Unfortunately, some time during my trip I misplaced my car keys. I live in Virginia and did not realize the keys were gone until I tried to unlock my truck at the airport in Norfolk. I have called mutliple times and left messages to try and see if perhaps someone found them or turned them in there at the campground but no one answers the phone and no one has returned my call after the message I left.
