Wise Pines

Great stay! My buddy and I completed Section 4 of the NEBDR in August and stayed here. We had bike trouble late in the day which ultimately required tools. With no resources available, we limped the bike to check in and to our surprise, John and his wife were extremely accommodating. John had all the tools we needed and was the reason we were able to continue the next day. The hostile was very clean and we even enjoyed a campfire at night. Definitely staying again when we come back!

Had a great stay at Wise Pines! Free shuttle from trail, clean rooms, laundry and hot shower! Chelsea even had a rain coat in the hiker box - left by some hiker a long time ago - and I had lost mine, and it fit me! And so it came at a perfect time! Thank you! Tree🌲

Chelsey and John have created an amazing oasis in a beautiful area of VT. I go to Chelsey's Power Flow yoga class every chance I get. She offers a welcoming space, a great workout, helpful cues, and awesome music. I always leave the class feeling happy and energized. Check it out! You will be so glad you did.

Booked this last minute for a quick solo Vermont weekend. Stayed in the bunk room. There were only two of us in the room, so it was really quiet. Everything was very clean and well organized. Self check-in was easy with all the information I needed provided. They warned about lack of cell service, so as long as you map your route, it's easy to find.

I had such a great stay at Wise Pines! Jon and Chelsey are incredibly hospitable and welcoming, and they have cultivated a really beautiful space in Woodstock's surrounding nature. Can't recommend this place enough!
