Lincoln Inn & Gallery

We stayed here in the middle of the week when it was a bit quieter, and it was wonderful! Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade—which was fantastic since we were traveling with our baby and really appreciated the extra space. The room, shared spaces, and overall property were beautiful. The location was perfect—close to all the sights around Woodstock but just far enough out to feel peaceful and private. We always enjoyed the complimentary breakfast options and the staff was always very pleasant and helpful. We would love to return in the future!

I had a Classic Single room at the top of the stairs and it was lovely. Sheets were soft, the comforter was fluffy and down and everything was very clean. Bring your own pillow if you like them soft and squishy. Family is there on site, which is nice if you are traveling alone. Inn is not quite as pictured in the photos but it sits on the river and it's lovely to walk down to it with your coffee in the morning. It's on a busy road (most every inn is, in this area) but it quiets down entirely, during sleeping hours. Their bread at breakfast is amazing and the management couldn't be nicer. I would absolutely recommend this place as it's a great value and very nice experience. I would definitely stay here again.

We just spent two lovely nights at the Lincoln inn & gallery. All the attention to details made our stay here so relaxing and comfortable. The morning breakfast and atmosphere was so pleasant and delicious. Our room was tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable! The owners were so friendly. We look forward to a return for another stay!

Fabulous 2-night visit! This was our first visit to the area and we were pleasantly surprised by our luck in picking this Inn. The food was amazing from the delicious breads, homemade granola, breakfast burritos AND Creme Brulee French toast... ALL on the same morning.. it was over the top!!! Our room was simply yet beautifully decorated, loved the morning light and the bed was perfect for us. Lots of quirks being that it is a historical inn but nothing was a deal breaker for us. If you want marbled bathrooms and sterile environments then perhaps not the place for you. But if you appreciate a cozy inn on beautiful property where you can sip your morning coffee in Adirondack chairs by the river's edge then you've found your spot. Add to all of this the wonderfully warm and helpful owners

We love this place! Amazing location along the river just on the edge of Woodstock. Historical home, originally of a cousin to Abraham Lincoln. Warm, comfortable beds, GRACIOUS HOSTS, great breakfasts, peaceful ambiance. We loved our stay here and will be back.
