Customer Reviews
First time visiting this resort, and the staff and customer service were absolutely outstanding! Everyone went above and beyond to make sure my 3-year-old son felt heard, included, and cared for. Their kindness toward him truly meant the most to me and my wife!!! I want to give a special thank you to Loa from the Moffat Market kitchen. We actually met him on the bus during his day off, yet he still took the time to be incredibly kind to our son. My son felt like me made a new friend and our shirt buss ride with him. He was so helpful about tips and recommendations. That level of genuine care really reflects the quality of people employed here. Another sincere thank you to Chris and Alicia from Ski Patrol, who assisted me during a medical issue at the mountaintop. Their professionalism, c
We had a wonderful time. We went up the gondola for Friday Happy Hour and got a day pass for Sunday to enjoy the alpine slide (and rock wall, gondola, and mini golf, bigger ropes was closed). We loved it, but found food/drinks to be a bit pricey for what you get. We ended up just getting a snack Sunday and ate brought our own picnic lunch we brought with us. The mini golf course isn't much fun because the ball rolls off course almost every time.
Had a great ski weekend there with friends! All the staff were extremely kind and helpful! They have super convenient busses that take you around the resort, to/from free parking, and some of the outlying neighborhoods where Airbnbs are. Also, all the lodges have free water cups so no need to bring a bottle/pack skiing!
Still a great mountain to ride and take the kiddo but the corporate takeover of most of the village has killed the cool small town winter park vibe. Stoney’s and lime are cool and reasonably. Vertical bistro is pretty good and of course Pizza Pedal’r gets a big shoot out for feeding us with a slice and beer for around $10. But the rest of the town sucks so we just usually roll into town and hit The Ditch and Dino’s and that dope Indian food spot across the street in the plaza.
Winter Park Resort is fantastic for both beginners and experienced skiers. The mountain layout is easy to navigate, and the scenery is beautiful. The village area is welcoming with great dining options and a relaxed atmosphere. Lifts were efficient, and staff were friendly and helpful. Even off the slopes, there’s plenty to enjoy. This resort feels less crowded than others while still offering an excellent experience. A great destination for a memorable mountain trip.
