The Viking Lodge - Downtown Winter Park, Colorado

If you want to feel like you’re living in a Hallmark movie, this is your place! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, giving local insight and recommendations for activities. The location was so peak - steps away from restaurants, coffee shops, and the bus station with direct shuttles to the resort. The aspect that I will remember most is the whimsical coziness and ambiance of the lodge. From the rooms to the common area, every corner has been touched with intent to make you feel true mountain magic. Cannot recommend the Viking Lodge enough!

This was a nice place to stay during our cross country-hiking trip. The girl at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was adequate, somewhat disappointed the second bed was in a loft. Location was good, walking distance to restaurants and small shops.

So many great things to say about The Viking Lodge! We stayed a little over a week through Christmas and New Years. It is absolutely incredible how they preserved a lot of the original infrastructure and made a very cute and cozy chalet vibe place. We were on the top floor and had quite a bit of space. I will post videos and pictures of our room as well as the common areas that featured a fireplace, record player, piano which you are allowed to play, coffee machine, hot cocoa, tea, and sometimes had hummus or nuts, etc. They have all utensils, plates, glasses, cups, and a microwave as well. Just don’t use the microwave when the coffee machine is going (they also have a note). Location is PRIME. Only 2 stops from the mountain with one of the main stations right across the lodge. Very easy

Amazing lodge with extremely comfortable beds. Best location for après in Winter Park and convenient free shuttle stop next door. Will definitely be staying here again when in town!
