Winter Park Chateau

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in this boutique hotel. It was our first time staying in this area. We primarily stayed for skiing in Winter Park/Mary Jane ski resorts which was close by. The location was great since we can walk to the restaurants. When we arrived, we were greeted by John who was the owner. He was welcoming and showed us around the place. There was the “den” which has a bar, sitting area, and game room. The jacuzzi was outside and has an awesome view of the area. We were staying in the Fox room which was adorable. The room can be accessed from inside the hotel and outside with a mini sitting area. The fireplace made the room cozy. We had a problem with the water barely draining in the bathroom sink. John was quick to respond and fix it. The only suggestion

What a wonderful place and a great concept of a mini boutique hotel (minus 24 hour staffing). We had a wonderful time! Our room was compact but perfect for a weekend stay ( we chose the smallest of the rooms). It was super clean and the bedding and towels we high quality. The common area was so much fun and a great place to make new friends. The best part was the owners who were super accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay special. We can’t wait to go back.

We had a great stay at the Chateau the last two nights. The owner and manager are awesome! The place is in a perfect location and the rooms and amenities are on point. We will definitely be back, next time with our son and dog as well!

We had a marvelous stay at the Winter Park Chateau over the weekend - what a find! This place is just awesome! It's right in the middle of town, walkable to restaurants and shops, a 5 minute drive from Winter Park (!!!), and a perfect blend of modern chic and winter coziness. John is such a welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable host who made us feel right at home! The common areas include a bar serving beers, cocktails, and snacks (all local brands that were DELICIOUS) and a hot tub on the second floor outdoor terrace overlooking the front of the property. I had a great night at Winter Park Chateau! The staff were incredibly helpful and my room cozy, clean, and very well appointed. A lot of thought went into making my stay stress free: easy to use access code, parking, complimentary WiFi and charging stations, a great room and bathroom and a comfortable king sized bed. All of this was a quick walk to some great food and shops and only 7 minutes drive from Winter Park Ski Resort. I only wish I had a few more nights to enjoy the Chateau and broader area. I Highly recommend vs a chain hotel or more touristy motel on the Main Street.
