Winnapaug Inn

Location was convenient to beaches. Room was good sized and included a small fridge/freezer and microwave. Beds were comfy and room was clean. Restaurant nearby (Venice) is delicious and a nice dinner choice. Breakfast on site was typical continental breakfast offering muffins, cereal, yogurt and coffee and juice. We prefer big breakfast. Coffee was not to my liking. Staff was friendly.

We were going to the Rhythm & Roots Festival and wanted to stay nearby. I stumbled upon Winnapaug Inn and it was great! Clean quiet room - we had a big room with double king beds and a terrace facing the green of a hole on a golf course. We had the included breakfast each morning, which was muffins, bagels, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, milk ... The Inn was just 10 minutes from the venue. Great festival! Stay at the Inn if you don't want to camp! It was ideal for our purposes. Didn't use any of the facilities (pool, golf, fitness center...)

Winnapaug Inn is a very nice place , however John at the front desk is very forgetful. I booked the Winnapaug in April directly got a price of 989.88 . However a couple days later I got a price of 793.00 . A diff of 196.00 . I called John 6 times kept telling me the computers are down . Finally after 6 calls he said he will honor the price of 793.00 . What I should have done is cancel and rebook with hotel.com . John was very nice so I took his word . When I got there he had no notes , and denied he spoke to me .

What a pleasant surprise! We stayed a couple of nights and can not say enough about this place. We usually stay on the beach but will come back as this had everything - a pool, large rooms, continental breakfast with a friendly lady to greet you. Minutes to the beach. Front desk staff very helpful. The grounds are well taken care of and pretty. Nice terrace with view of the golf course. Worth trying this hidden gem. Great value.
