The Coast

The newly renovated rooms were very nice, parking was good. Great distance from the beach. Only complaints are that my room as a little dirty upon arrival, and that we were asked twice when we were checking out on the wrong days. We were also awakened by the cleaning service who just unlocked our room door without announcing themselves or knocking first. Other than that a nice stay.

5 stars for exceptionally accomplishing what it's trying to do. We weren't sure what to expect - could not find exterior pics. Perhaps they don't post because afraid it's modest exterior will turn people off. But nothing to be ashamed of - it IS a motel, but an exceptionally clean and we'll maintained one. Clearly recently remodeled and it looks real nice in and out. It is not a luxury hotel - if that's what you want, go somewhere else. But it was super cheap, convenient location, very clean. And, as someone who does stay in luxury hotels frequently for work, by far one of the most comfortable beds, linens, pillows I have ever slept in. Thank you!

Don’t let the outside appearance fool you! The rooms have been updated and were very nice! Stayed only 1 night and would have stayed longer if time allowed it! I did kill 2 little spiders in the room but overall for the price can’t complain! Only suggestion is that there’s a chain installed on the doors to feel extra secure. We did lock the door but the chain would be great! Recommend and would stay again. Thanks for good hospitality.

What a vast improvement over the Sand Dollar, the old place. The management has really invested in this place. It is so much cleaner and brighter. When I opened the door to my room, I thought I was in the wrong place. Unbelievable. Keep up the great work. And the manager was so nice he came to my room to show us how to use the TV and the heat.

The Coast is a clean, quiet, upscale motel. The rooms are designed well & beds are so comfortable. The refrigerator has a freezer section with ample room. Huge flat screen tv on the wall & state of the art shower is an excellent added bonus. The owners & management are friendly & social & always there to help. The dear cleaning lady spends the time to represent your room as brand new, & as if you were just checking in for the first time even after you stay more than 1 night.
