Wilmington Inn Wilmington

Planned a 4 day stay via Expedia as the pictures are not representative of the conditions. We cancelled the remaining 3 days of our reservation after we spotted a roach on one of the dressers and management chose not to refund my deposit, despite the hotel being almost empty(only 3 other cars in the parking lot). Can not recommend when there are similarly priced options in the area.

Front desk was nice and accommodating. Clean room. Flat screen TV for picky folks. Microwave and fridge. Bed was not a pillow top but comfortable. They offered two bars of soap but there was no little packets or bottles of shampoo. Usually would not be a problem but it was an unexpected stay and would have been nice to have at least the cheap little packet available. Also the toilet handle was very loose and you had to hold it down a minute til the toilet flushed. For $70 a night it was almost perfect!!

Have been staying here Mon-Fri for the last 6 months as a construction worker. Room is cleaned daily, staff is always awesome, and three restaurants in the same parking lot with a Krogers just two blocks away. The hotel and staff have been great and I wish all of the hotels I stay in could be so accommodating.

We arrived a couple hours earlier than we anticipated. The young lady at the front desk was very polite. Understanding of the situation and professional allowing us to check in early, fantastic. Everything was good until later that night I saw two roaches. My partner was working at one of the rehabilitation centers as he is a traveling nurse. I got our belongings together and slept in my car til he was finished working. Then drove 3 hours back home.

The owners of the hotel are very pleasant and accommodating. The housekeepers do a great job cleaning up the rooms
