Royalton Inn & Suites Wilmington

The owner's wife is a horrible woman she is absolutely rude and completely annoying when it comes to telling people what to do in their rooms they pay for I don't think that I'm getting rules because I'm pretty sure that that's the reason to get a hotel I understand if they were not that friendly place but they actually are so it's not even that she just wants to control peoples actual company they have. I'm pretty sure the amount of money I have to pay over a hundred dollars plus a deposit that's 50 and they make it so difficult that it has to be cash deposit for some reason, when i rent from them a lot. But I always forget to get the deposit back .

I don't quite understand the negative reviews, my lone complaint about this hotel is with the washcloth! It is off the main highways, very quiet and the parking lot feels safe. Yes, it's older, but my room was clean and comfortable. I especially appreciated the chair and footstool !! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. (the washcloth was rough and when wet it oddly kept folding up in my hand)

Rooms are dated but our room was clean . We had clean bedding and plenty of towels, we did have friends that left due to other problems. Never got to use the pool but it looked great

Hotel is dated nasty and scetchy. Go to the holiday inn, Hampton, or the other one. Pay the extra money and have peace of mind and a good trip. This isn't the place to stay.

I am a business owner that comes to Wilmington often. I have stayed at every hotel this town offers. This is now the only one I will stay at. I read the poor reviews and disagree with almost every comment but one. Yes the sign outside is faded. The managers here are the best I have ever seen. You can not go wrong.
