Cowan Lake State Park Campgrounds & Cabins

The newly renovated cabins are very nice, modern and clean. They lost a little on the "cabin feel" but the outdoors and views make up for that. Even with all the recent snow the cabin and campground area were well maintained. We had no trouble walking around. Staff was very nice.

Clean bathrooms that don't stink to high heaven! Facilities all kept up for the most part. Could use more trails easily accessible to lake for bank fishing. Take an "easy up," if you're tent camping. Not many shaded sites. Overall a great place for family camping.

Beautiful area. Perfect lake for sailboats and kyacks. I believe it's a low HP motor lake safer for smaller craft and fishing. The park is very pretty and well maintained.

Very clean park with excellent maintained trails. Clean bath houses and the dump facilities are clean and easy to use. Trails are well marked.

Ohio really has done the state parks nice. Large still service sites, electric sites, tent sits, this park has all. It’s a nice park and I’ll be back.
