Holiday Inn Express Wilmington by IHG

We've stayed in this hotel before and came back because we were very happy with it. This time the gentleman who checked us in was professional and friendly. When we went into our room it smelled clean and it actually was. I always check for bugs and there were none. They offer free breakfast and it was very good. Of course they didn't make food to order, so your choices were limited. And the food was made in bulk and kept warm in a self serve style. However, the amount of food they offered was cooked in small enough batches so it was always hot. I had a cheese omelette, sausage gravy and biscuits, and linked sausages twice during my stay and I was satisfied each time. They also had a pool, workout room, and laundry. Overall we were happy with our stay and will definitely go back.

⸻ I had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express Wilmington! The hotel room was very clean and comfortable, which made it easy to relax. The complimentary breakfast exceeded expectations—lots of options and everything was fresh. The staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Would definitely stay here again!

The room was perfect! The bed was comfortable. The room was cleaned promptly each a.m. without having to make a request. The room was clean and possibly recently updated. Everything looked clean and new. The front desk manager, Lisa was very sweet and kind. Kylee did a fantastic job with booking us for the trip. The cinnamon rolls on breakfast bar were sinfully good. I had two each morning. The coffee was mediocre, but it served the purpose. I stayed three nights. I was in town for the Industrial Strength Bluegrass Festival. Almost everyone at the hotel was there for the festival. I had a really bad experience at a different hotel chain and chose to pay to stayed at this hotel and paid for all three nights, instead of using my credit card points and staying free at a Choice Pr

The place was super clean. Rooms were comfortable and the staff was friendly. Plenty of room for parking. The only thing I would say as a negative is the hot water took forever to actually get hot and even when you ran it a while it was just kind of warm but not really hot.

We stayed for 6 days and the staff here was very nice! Carina made our day with her customer service during breakfast and had us waking up easier than we thought could be possible! The rooms were clean and tidy upon entry and the location was a great spot in between all the places we wanted to go to!
