TownePlace Suites by Marriott Dayton Wilmington

This is a newer hotel but nothing to write home about. With the limited options in the area to stay for the nearby World Equestrian Center this is a decent option. We have stayed here multiple times and it is very consistent but not the most comfortable. Beds are very hard and linens are of average quality. Also the hvac is terrible making it difficult to sleep. It is nice the have a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator.

I was here for 7weeks ( my home was being repaired from a fire) Everyone was friendy and helpful. Room was clean and roomy and they loved my dog lady. Breakfast was very good. Everyone always had a smile on there face.

Update: Hotel called shortly after posting this review (3 days after stay) and refunded a portion of the reservation. Booked a double queen room through Priceline. Received a single king bed upon arrival. Priceline would not compensate rate paid even though king rate is lower than double queen rate. Hotel was booked and could not honor reservation. Hotel did not compensate rate or return call as promised. Will not being using priceline or booking.com in the future. On a positive note, the room was extremely clean and well designed. The closet was a huge bonus and there were several outlets for charging devices. Angie at the front desk was very friendly and breakfast was great.

This Townplace Suites is one of the cleanest and best appointed Marriott Hotels I have stayed in. Parking was ample, staff were polite. They have their own liquor license, with a bar on site. The tiny detail that impressed me the most was a small printed piece of paper we were given with our room key. This had information on housekeeping, breakfast hours and various times the amenities of the hotel were open. This tiny detail is a tremendous help for guests. Keep up the great work Marriott!

Manager lacks basic customer service skills. Rooms not well kept. Room heating system loud with constant start and stop all night long. Making it difficult to sleep. Much better hotel options in area
