White River Inn & Suites

Really disappointing experience — not because we expected luxury, but because of how poorly things were handled from start to finish. Before booking, I specifically called to confirm that the suite we were considering had three sleeping spaces: two beds and one pullout couch. The receptionist asked me to call back in five minutes as she was with guests, and when I did, she was very polite and clearly confirmed that the suite did include what I was asking for. Based on that, I went ahead and booked the room. After booking, I received an invoice by email with no details about the room type. The email said a second confirmation with more information would follow — but I never received anything else. That should’ve been a red flag. Place was easy to get to and visually very nice. I had made a reservation about ten days before arrival and asked for a ground level room. I got a second floor room which was fine since there is an elevator. What I didn't like was that I was put in a room at the far end of the hotel. I probably should have gone to the desk and ask to change the room. I think this place might also be a residence type of place too. It was a large room with a sofa, kitchen sink with microwave, refrig, coffee maker. It was clean which is my first priority. Breakfast was typical hotel quick breakfast.

Front desk was very helpful with an issue at check-in and able to resolve immediately. The facilities were ok, odd odor on one side of building. Found out the pool is unheated... a bit disappointed as I assumed it was an indoor pool, it would be heated in December. Breakfast was average.

0 stars. Long story short we booked a room online. Got there and our room was nothing like what we booked. We talked to front desk& they switched rooms. The second room was DISGUSTING. Duty carpet. Stains/ burn marks, smelled like cigarettes, MOLD on the ceiling above the bed!! Top that off, furnagie was loose and falling apart and the corners of carpets were nasty. Pics attached. We left and went to Fireside Inn and, wow! Happy we did.

Our family of three stayed at the White River Inn just before Christmas 2025. We chose the Inn because it's spacious suite room allowed for my wife and I to have a bedroom that was separate from the living area where our adult son slept. The overall design of the room was ideal for us. It included a kitchen so we could do some cooking, and they also provided free continental breakfasts in their lobby. That is where the good stuff ended. Our suite had several stains on the carpeting. The bedspread was very thin and threadbare. The couch was also threadbare, dirty, and had a 6-inch hole in one of the cushions. Although we reserved a room for three, no linens were provided for the pull-out couch and only two towels were provided in the bathroom. Only decaf coffee was provided for the coffee
