The one good thing I can say is that the woman who was managing the front desk in the evening was lovely. So nice and welcoming.||I walked into my room (#9) and immediately knew I couldn’t stay there. The smell of mildew and air freshener was overpowering. I have asthma and immediately felt my airways reacting. The beds were messy, the chair stained, the bathroom dirty. And they were charging my employer $200 for that night! It’s clear that whoever owns the motel is just extracting as much value as they can and deferring all of the maintenance. Do not stay here. I took my things back to my car and found another place to stay.

Positive: Best sleep I've had on the road. Comfortable bed. Quiet place. Food close by. Negative: Very scary woman covered in tattoos at the front desk scared the kids. Hotel parking lot was very dark. This hotel did not have an elevator.

The reason why I'm knocking off a star is because right before we were leaving, we sat down to have a snack and some old man who is a employee too one look at us slammed the microwave and looked over his shoulder while warming up his food, he then takes out whatever he had and slams the microwave again looking at us. The rooms are decent, beds form, fluffy pillows the bathroom could have been cleaned better, however I won't be back to a place where... For whatever reason we aren't welcome? The receptionist was fine but one bad apple can spoil the bunch. The breakfast is nothing but cereal, bagels and muffins, no eggs, no meat, nothing of nutritional value except some fruit. All the staff members were very helpful, especially since our car broke down approximately 20 miles away. The night representative gave us contact info for taxi services & towing companies when Uber couldn't get us a ride. She made check in a breeze, knew us by name when we arrived, appeared genuinely sincere & relieved when we arrived safely. The room was pretty good & clean but needs to be updated a bit. The bed & bedding were Very clean, which is my first priority. Plenty of very nice pillows even though we bring our own for neck reasons. Comfortable lounge & desk chairs & plenty of lighting in various areas. The vanity sink area was clean & well stocked. Unsafe parking lot with sheet of ice and no salt or clearing done. We both are seniors and we're only given an initial second floor unit, but the entry to the stairwell from the parking lot was scary with no place to walk that wasn't ice. There is no elevator either. Only after we complained to corporate did they find a room during the night after 7pm. Of note, I was told on the phone before booking the nonrefundable reservation that the parking lot was clear and safe.
