Comfort Inn White River Junction

We were upgraded to a suite as they said they needed our king room and we were there on the rest easy program. We greatly appreciated the comfort of the suite. No guarantee this would be the case if we referred others to this location. The breakfast was sparse as well as the help/staff. Staff was challenged with covering several duties... which included keeping the entry way cleared of ice due to the storm happening in the area. Entry, from parking area was quite slippery/icy. All in all our 2 night stay was great. The room excellent.

It was a very nice stay, food service was very difficult every day of my stay.The hot foods were actually cold, and in one instance, still partially frozen. The beds were a little dated but still firm enough for a decent night's sleep. Stayed three nights was amazed how quiet the hotel was.

I had some small concerns after reading some of the recent reviews. I’ve stayed at a few different Comfort Inns recently and they are rather nice for their typical price point. This particular one was no different. It’s clean and relatively well maintained (thought the elevator carpets could use a cleaning - but nothing major was wrong). The room was quiet, clean, plenty of towels. The AC worked great. The complimentary breakfast was good - pretty much what you get at hotels at this price point (eggs, bacon, waffles, toast, yogurts, etc). I was there in the middle of “leaf peeping” season so I paid close to $400 a night. This hotel is typically more in the $150 per night range so I had adjusted my expectations accordingly.

AWFUL!!! Comfort Inn?! More like Uncomfortable Inn!! The room was absolutely disgusting! Filthy!! The mirrors, microwave, fridge, shower, desk have not been cleaned in God only knows how long! The bed and pillows were so uncomfortable! Breakfast and coffee were horrible also! Not too mention there was a dog in a room, baking his head off the whole weekend!! Update this hotel, and get staff who cares about the guests and cleanliness... it MIGHT improve!!

Generally good stay - clean, safe, friendly staff. The problems are small but annoying - on entry to hotel the automatic (handicap) door opener does not work. We have noticed this at previous stays. It is not a major job so I would think the manager could have this easily addressed. There are few outlets in the room, considering the number of devices people bring. There basically is nothing, not even a power strip near the desk in the room. Considering that the room can accomodate 4, this is a problem. A fixed, inexpensive poerstrip could resolve this issue quickly! (we have mentioned this previously)
