Hotel Coolidge

The rooms are definitely dated and basic and the bed/mattress was the same. But I was only looking for a reasonable priced and clean place for a one night stay and it met those qualifications. The staff was very friendly and responded quickly to any request.

I’d have to say no to staying here again. We arrived last minute around 1 a.m. and were grateful they had a room available. The front desk staff was very kind, which was the only positive part of the stay. We asked about a discount since we were checking in so late and leaving by 9 a.m. While a discount wasn’t required, the refusal felt unnecessarily petty given the circumstances. The room itself was extremely run-down. The furniture was old and minimal, the carpet felt worn and dirty, the lighting was poor, and the overall condition made the room feel neglected. For the price we paid, the quality was unacceptable. Overall, this place felt outdated and poorly maintained. I wouldn’t stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it to others. Your money would be better spent elsewhere.

If you like a transient yardsale feel, this is for you! Refrigerators teetering on a swapmeet end tables and extension cord you have to jump rope over to move about the room. With the crooked/sloping floors and the beds that had your feet higher than your head gave the authentic Dracula/Transylvania atmosphere a person would epect after seeing the disintergrating awning at the main entry. We live in a small town in the western side of the country with older, more rustic and historical accommodations that have had the appropriate renovations done to allow human habitation. Unfortunatly we fled the Hotel Coolidge ASAP after our sleepless night and did not get to experience any of the other downtown bussinesses which we heard were amazing. My sister and I stayed here one night while visiting the area. This place is one of the more affordable places in the area but more importantly, we loved it! The furniture and historic nature of the hotel was such a treat and the staff were super friendly. We explored each floor to see the cool artwork and variety. Before checkout, take a peek in open rooms that are being cleaned to see the uniqueness of each room 😍.We love that they give you a coupon for nearby businesses to treat yourself as well. Highly recommend!!!
