White Marlin Inn (Formerly Sun Tan Motel)

I would say the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Went here for oceans calling which provided good location for that. But they also price gouged so bad it should be illegal. Literal trash establishment. Rooms were not like pictures. Tiny. Beds uncomfortable. Shower was smaller than a mini fridge and it flooded the whole bathroom. Stayed Sept 2024

Didn’t stay here but. It smelled like ammonia like something died or dropped a dump in the room. The bed looked all messed up and stained also the door was wide open for anyone to go in. Don’t waste your money and health on this place

We actually had a great experience in August of 2023, and booked at trip this August but had to cancel because we have a family member with cancer. We cancelled the trip within the required dates and still have not received our deposit back despite it being refundable. The rooms are in various states of disrepair. I will choose anywhere else than this place based on the disrepair of the accommodation and their unwillingness to provide a refund of REFUNDABLE deposit in a timely fashion. It’s supposed to be 15 days. We are at 3 weeks. They were unhelpful and obviously slum lords.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I’ve worked in property management for over thirteen years, and this is by far one of the worst properties I’ve encountered. There was black mold everywhere—inside the AC units, on the walls, furniture, and in the bathrooms. The rooms were completely infested. When I tried to open the refrigerator, black mold coated my hands. My fiancée and I approached the front desk to address the issue, but the attendant refused to cancel our booking or issue a refund. I’m now contacting my credit card company to file a formal claim, something I’ve never had to do before. In property management, we would consider the room they offered us “uninhabitable.” For the sake of your health and the health of your family and friends, avoid this place at all costs.
