King Charles Hotel

We haven't vacationed in Ocean city in over 10 years. We used to stay once a year in a condo, so this was my first time in a hotel in a very long time. I am so happy I came across this hotel in my searching. I really loved the hotels staff and how personable everyone was. Growing up my grandmother had a house in Ocean City on the water so we vacationed there a lot. I have a lot of memories there with my cousins and my parents, I really wanted to give that to my children. It was nice to be at a hotel that felt like you belonged and not just a stranger. They even make a fresh dessert every night and put it out. Unfortunately, we were there during the 4th of July events that took place on the boardwalk. My children were really scared, especially my 4 year old daughter who begged to go home.

I really enjoyed my stay at King Charles Hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out, which made the whole experience very pleasant. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated with a classic style that feels warm and inviting. The location is excellent — close to major sights and easy to get around from there. It’s also quiet enough to ensure a good night’s sleep. Although they don’t offer breakfast, there are plenty of great cafes nearby. Overall, a wonderful place to stay whether you’re visiting for business or leisure. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We recently stayed at the King Charles Hotel with our family and were very pleased with our experience. The hotel is in a great location—just a short walk from the beach and the main street with shops and restaurants. It's a perfect spot for those who want to be close to all the action, yet enjoy a peaceful and cozy atmosphere. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. We especially want to highlight the friendly and attentive staff—they gave us a warm welcome from day one and were always ready to help and answer any questions. The hotel has a homey feel, and you can tell the staff truly care about their guests. We also appreciated the free parking—it's a big plus in such a busy area. We will definitely come back again and highly recommend King Charle

Picked this hotel for its location and reviews. Was not disappointed in the least. Very comfortable rooms and immaculately clean. Could not ask for a more comfortable stay. Even the air conditioner filter was clean. The owner takes great pride in keeping this property in tip top shape. The beds were very comfortable as well. And as an added bonus you can have freshly baked cookies in the evening! Overall probably the best property I've ever stayed at in the Ocean City area.

We've been coming to the King Charles since 2022, and at this point, I think we should probably be paying rent. But this year was next-level. We snagged the room with the balcony and, I can confirm, it is a little slice of heaven. This place is so impossibly clean it makes me embarrassed to go home to my own house. The owner is an absolute legend, and the location is so perfect it feels like we never have to get in the car. It’s a literal half-block from the daily beach pilgrimage and an easy stumble to favorites like Bad Ass Cafe, Brass Balls, and Brothers Bistro. For a fun, relaxing vacation to recharge, this is our perfect spot. Leaving is a very very very temporary “see you later”. Same time, next year. I’m already counting down the days.
