Lighthouse Club Hotel

The place is super nice. The room looked super clean. It's a great place to spend a pleasant time with your partner. The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast. I understand they call it a continental breakfast, but it was hardly continental, except for the Greek yogurt. It seemed more like a snack than breakfast. The strawberries were old and rotten, there were only two sodas, two bottles of water, two sparkling waters, two granola bars, and two mini pastries. For the price we paid and not a real breakfast I think is to much. One night $412.

My husband and I stayed at the Lighthouse Club Hotel for two nights for our first small getaway from our three kids. The hotel itself is quaint, but has a lot of character. Our room was beautifully decorated and we had a great view of the bay. The balconies aren't very private unless you are on the very top level, but there was no one ever out the same time as us. The bathroom had a beautiful tub, however it could have used a good scrub, some of the jets seemed like they had red mold on them which made me hesitant to use it. The tub is also the only way to shower so I wouldn't recommend if you can't take the giant step to get into the tub. The shower curtain also could have used a wash. The hotel provided 24 hour coffee, however it is just from a Keurig which is also provided in your room.

Our first time staying at this adult only hotel and we were not disappointed. |Friendly, helpful front desk staff. |Nice size, clean room with jacuzzi tub in bathroom. Robes. Wet bar had small sink with Keurig and pods available. Little breakfast of fresh berries, granola, Chobani yogurt, orange juice, and 2 small muffins. Fridge had water and soft drinks replenished each day. Fresh cookies baked and available at 3 pm in beautiful sitting area near check in. Great location in OC. Overall quiet except for where our room was located we could hear the early morning sanitation truck quite loudly doing their job. FYI… Our room overlooked the parking lot. Great stay! Understandable that walls are constructed just with wood which means not a lot of insulation in between, but you are truly staying at a converted lighthouse. Loved the special touches with breakfast in the fridge, robe and higher end strong keurig coffee. No one did tell me about the pool at the adjacent property (read about it in the reviews), not sure if that is to keep numbers down since it is supporting two properties. Also, even though there is a bridge to Fagers felt it was super intimate and many don’t know it is there. I wasn’t sure if it would justify the cost, but absolutely did.

When we checked in, the gentleman at the front desk was very rude when asked about parking. The room was nice but the bed sheet had a big rip at the bottom of the bed. Also I stubbed my toe at the sliding glass door that leads out to the balcony because the floor was rotted and my toe sunk into the hole. Also the fact that they don’t care to reach out to people who leave negative reviews speaks for what kinda place this is and what kind of service you will receive. I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying at this hotel.
