Whispering Hills RV Park

We only stayed one night. It was mostly quite, just a little road noise. Our site, #223, has a pretty level pull through pad. But the grass area was standing water. The park was mostly empty in the section we were in due to being in February and the was a wintery mix falling the morning we arrived. The staff was excellent. From check, guiding us our site and checking on us to make sure we had no problems when time to check out.

Probably won’t be back here again. Stayed here a year ago and wasn’t bad but not so great this time. We pulled in up to the stop sign as the sign stated to check in. Wife went in to the office while I began to unhook our Jeep. By the time she came out with the paperwork, I had one last safety cable to disconnect. The older woman checking us in followed my wife out and rudely told me I had to move because I was blocking the driveway. She didn’t quite comprehend that we had a 43’ super C that doesn’t turn sharply on their narrow roads so it was either unhook there or in the middle of the road further up. Mind you that there was only one vehicle behind us that was checking in. Then there’s the extra $5 a day electric fee. If your electric cost has risen then add it to the nightly rate. People

Great stay. Had to try a couple showers till we found one with hot water. Overall, good experience They filled my propane tanks and brought them back for me! Had a work camper meet us at the gate in a utv and lead us to our spot. Very nice guys working the desk and outside. Just added: I was having trouble with my hitch bracket and Jasper came to help me. He got me hooked up and on my way. My favorite interstate campground yet!

This is one of our favorite RV Parks!! We have stayed quite a few times and never disappointed. The sites are decently spacious and seem pretty level. The staff are all very pleasant and easy to work with. They have guest laundry, sell quarters in the office, accept packages, escort you to your sight, clean restrooms and showers, have a lake, and lake side sites, pull throughs and back in as well. Close to highway and easy to get to. We recommend this RV park. We will definitely be back if in the area.

Perfect spot near Lexington, great price, and all the amenities you need. Super helpful staff! We’ve stayed here twice already and planning to come back again. Haven’t stayed on the water yet but it looks beautiful. We’ve loved walking around the park. Can’t wait to go back!
