Home2 Suites by Hilton Georgetown

5 stars. There are 2 other Hilton properties just across the street (Hampton and Hilton Garden) and this Home2 is definitely the best of the 3. I cannot understand why Hilton Honors only rewards 5 points per dollar spent here vs 10 points per dollar spent at the others because the room price is practically identical and this hotel and service is far better. The rooms are much larger, the breakfast selection is better, and they even offer afternoon cookies. Every room has a full size fridge/freezer in the kitchenette. Everything is new and clean. Several walkable food options. Highly recommend.

Positive: The water pressure of the shower was awesome! Negative: The walls seemed thin. Room 123 was close to the pool and you could hear kids having fun very well. Would definitely stay again, but just request something away from the pool.

Very clean and comfy Hotel that appears to be recently built but is 6 years old. Front Desk person (Terri) was very friendly and efficient. Room was comfy and had everything necessary for an extended stay but my stay was only one night. Nice gym with individual TVs on treadmill and nice selection of free weights. Pool was nice size and not cold with plenty of towels. Breakfast Bar......wow. Best I have ever seen at a hotel. Breaded chicken tenders, fresh cheese slices, potatoes, waffles, eggs, sausage, fresh fruits, muffins, biscuits, cereals, selection of juices. And they never ran out of anything. Seriously if at a restaurant that would run you about $15-$20 per person. Centrally located among several restaurants and you could walk to most of them and to a couple bar and grills a

Overall it was a good room! It was a bit tired (roller shades torn and frayed, showerhead clogged and spraying the ceiling out of the side, and several stains on the carpet) but the beds were comfortable, the kitchenette looked brand new, and the hotel had good amenities. The gym, the patio (with a fire pit), and the breakfast were all good! Front desk staff were nice, and the cleaning staff did daily turns of the room which isn't as common these days! We saw the pool, but did not use it. Also, they have 2 gas grills outside for you to cook on!

Very clean rooms and pool. Hot fresh breakfast with a variety of options. Complimentary coffee, hot chocolate and cookies for Christmas. Very hospitable staff. Interesting and diverse snack and drink options for sale at the desk. Nice size and well equipped kitchenette in the room. We would definitely choose Home2 over Marriott, Holiday Inn or Quality Inn.
