Waterbury Inn

I was pleased with the Waterbury. The loft area was nice for our kids to sleep in with separated twin beds. There were plenty of pots and pans and quality silverware for our family to use. The beds were not too hard. Initially, there were constantly barking dogs in the hotel, but after a complaint - the hotel took care of that with the dog owners. Hotel room was clean and comfortable. It was expensive, at $350/night. However, it was the BEST option for the wedding we were part of nearby. I would stay again, but probably in the off-season when it would hopefully be a little cheaper. Front desk staff were friendly. I can’t speak to the pool quality as we didn’t have time to use them. I was VERY pleased with the mini-split A/C - it worked SO well for the first level of our room. Kids

I’ve stayed at several different hotels in Door County and the Waterbury Inn has been by far the nicest out of them all. The rooms, pool and common areas are updated, well maintained, and spotless. The amenities, location, and staff are also fantastic. I would recommended the Waterbury Inn to anyone looking for a nice clean place to stay in Door County!

I know a storm isn’t their fault, but there were other hotels around us who had power. Maybe generators? We were supposed to stay there a week and had to leave 2 days early after an AWFUL night. Got kicked out of the pool outside at dusk last year but this year there were kids playing in it well past dusk. Indoor pool was very cloudy and got hair stuck to my hands every time I put my hands in. This year a storm rolled through and picked on Ephraim. Sister bay had power, but we didn’t. The lights started flickering and internet went out just as the rain started-not a good sign. What do they have satellite? Then the electricity went full out. We did a Thursday to Saturday stay and it was amazing. We had a room with a loft bedroom, a regular bedroom and a pullout couch. There were 4 adults and 1 child and it was perfect for us. A small kitchen was great for storing and reheating leftovers. The balcony was also nice for a quick pop out to get some fresh air. Our son's favorite part was of course the indoor pool and hot tub. He could not get enough of the pool. It was also nice to have a friendly competition of ping pong. The little gift shop is great for a souvenirs and snacks. We absolutely loved our stay at the Waterbury Inn and will definitely stay there again the next time we venture to Door County.

Very clean hotel, indoor pool is heated and hot tub is actually hot! Rooms are spacious and ghe front desk staff is friendly and accomdating. This will be the only place we stay from now on when we visit.
