The Water Street Inn

Absolutely loved our stay at the Water Street Hotel! The room was spacious, spotless, with a stunning view that made the stay even more special. The entire property was exceptionally clean and peaceful. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel welcomed.

This is in the BEST location, within walking distance to all the little restaurants & shops in Ephraim, plus right across from Peninsula State Park and super short drive to Sister Bay. The rooms were clean, had a lot of amenities like bike & kayak rental (though we didn't get a chance to use them). While there's no breakfast, the reception does have a wonderful coffee bar & some refrigerated snacks & drinks for purchase.||One thing to note: Heads up, I'm 5'7'' and the sofa was too short for me to comfortably sleep on, but it could work if you're 5'5'' or under :)

Great location, fantastic view of the bay. Staff goes above & beyond at everything. Always making sure you are satisfied. King room was great. Just a tad noisy at times due to parking lot out front (and the 19 Corvettes staying there, which I loved otherwise), but we knew that going in. Great ambiance at late season; just all older folks like us. Fewer families/kids. Easy to get around and get seats in restaraunts. Shorter days, but cool & comfy weather is ok by me. The area really changed since our first visit in the late 80's when it was the Evergreen Beach Hotel. Gretchen is great & Sergio made sure everything was 5 star. Thanks, and hoping to get back next season.

This was our tenth consecutive year staying at the Water Street Inn and, in all of these years the service, accommodations and friendliness of the entire staff was terrific and has never diminished during all of these years. Our room was spotless when we arrived and well maintained throughout our visit,|Gretchen, the manager, was always on site and available to answer any questions and was open to suggestions. She's made significant enhancements to the Inn and is looking forward to enhancing the guest’s experience even more. She is a friendly, warm and caring person making sure that you enjoy your stay. ||We recommend the Waterstreet Inn to our friends and neighbors planning to visit Door County. We will be returning for our 11th visit in September and staying at the Water Street Inn.
