Edgewater Resort

Great stay at a perfect location. The room was small but had everything we needed. The porch overlooking the water was complete with a rocking chair to enjoy the beautiful view. It was too late in the season for the pool, but the fire pit was a really nice touch. The front desk staff was knowledgeable about the area and events, and very helpful. Can't wait to come back for another trip

We always love staying at the Edgewater Resort, especially in the off season. The rooms are spacious and so comfortable, and the full kitchen and fireplace really make it easy to just relax indoors and enjoy the beautiful views. The location is fantastic, making trips to Sturgeon Bay, Fish Creek, Sister Bay and beyond so easy. We come up here nearly every year and find the same spotless and welcoming atmosphere make this feel like a home away from home. It’s very quiet in the off season, so we feel as if we almost have the whole place to ourselves. And the off-season special pricing make it even more enjoyable!

My husband and I were looking for a little get away, we had stayed in Door County many times but never at the Edgewater. It was lovely, absolutely stunning views, we had quite the snowstorm, so we changed our dinner plans and stayed local and took advantage of the lovely fireplace in the room and relaxed and watched the snowfall. We will definitely be back!

We were looking to stay in a cabin for a few days to see the Fall colors. It was located right across from the harbor and was an excellent choice. The cabin had everything we needed-dishes, full-size refrigerator, microwave and a large coffeemaker, cable TV and WiFi. (Note that the cabin we were in had a somewhat small shower that might be difficult for larger people.)||Every evening they had a fish boil right outside our cabin where they told the history while you watched them cook. Then, everyone went into the Old Post Office to eat. The service was exceptional! The wait staff efficient and attentive. My husband and I spent three wonderful nights in a Deluxe Water View room. We had a gorgeous view and balcony access. The large, condo-like room was clean, bright, and well-appointed. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was large. We loved the easy access to the parking lot and the walkability to several restaurants. A huge bonus was the Old Post Office restaurant right on site where we ate breakfast daily and attended a fabulous fish boil! We watched an amazing sunset from the resort’s private pier.
