Watch Hill Court

From the second we pulled onto the property we were pleased with our choice of places to stay. The property was gorgeous, with flowers everywhere and a beautiful lawn where the kids got to play and run around. We stayed in apartment H, where there was a large and comfortable king bed, with another room with two twin beds for the kids. The apartment came with a beautiful view of the water, and while the apartment was small and simple with some older and dated furnishing, it was very clean, comfortable, and affordable and perfect for our vacation. There was a grill with a table and chairs right outside, and we were even able to have fun and pleasent interactions with the family in the apartment next to us. Two words... Run down. Watch hill court is in such a nice location. Its a shame it isnt kept up. The unit we stayed in smelled musty, there was mold in the shower, and there was a towel wedged in the bedroom window acting as a window seal. Overall our stay was ok. The beach was nice. Hopefully they upgrade the place soon.

Please check my other reviews; I am not a negative person but this hotel ruined my vacation. We rented two apartments, C & D for a family of six. The facilities are exceptionally old, the door didn't shut correctly or lock, window locks were broken/non-functioning, the cleaning staff did not clean or tidy our room, the ceilings were stained and run with plumbing pipes, the AC unit was ancient, the overall appearance of the hotel is poorly maintained 1970's decor, very small and cramped, old orange plaid pull out couch was uncomfortable and close to breaking, bathroom amazingly small with stained flooring, no counter space, no shelves, no hook on door for vanity bag, view is of an old asphalt parking lot, dirty old carpeting, small uncomfortable wicker dining room table/chairs, internet acc

Watch Hill is a beautiful town, but most of the hotel options are astronomical. Thank goodness for the Watch Hill Court. ||||The location is wonderful: panoramic views of the harbor and a 2 minute walk to the carousal, St. Claire Annex and of course the beautiful beaches. And the accommodations fit our lifestyle. ||||There's a huge lawn kitted out with tables, chairs and grills where we enjoyed breakfast, cocktails and dinner, and where the kids could run around while we were doing it. They even had boogie boards and sand toys for us to borrow. ||||Best of all, though, is the management team, which is incredibly welcoming and attentive. We made our third visit this summer and already are looking forward to the fourth.

Made reservations today and glad to hear that the management team that had been running the Court for years was coming back this summer after a year away. We've always enjoyed the Motor Court because of its prime location, central parking, and efficiencies. We've stayed in various rooms and cottages and some have come with spectacular views. I find the prices reasonable and the parking alone is priceless. I've always found the rooms clean and comfortable. It's a great place to relax and have a drink overlooking the bay, a quick walk to downtown WH, and short half-mile walk to the some of my favorite beaches.
