Walleye Retreat

I had a great experience at Johnsons Walleye Retreat. Was looking for a different ice fishing trip and wanted to check out Lake of the Woods. Robbie and Jamie answered the call and made it happen. Great accommodations from the cabin to the fish cleaning house and out on the lake. Robbie continued to check on us throughout the day and made sure we always had what we needed. If you're heading north and looking for a great fishing experience, give them a call. We caught 47 fish over 2 days and had plenty keepers to bring home.

Chartered w/ Robbie August '23, had an absolute blast. My son and his buddy won the day in both numbers and size, first time charter for all of us. Robbie is super knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Family owned business are always my first choice! Planning an ice fishing trip (we hope) for 2025!

Had an absolute blast fishing with this outfitter, very accommodating and always checking to make sure we were all taken care of and even cleaned our fish. Also knowledgeable of the lake and put us on the fish! All 6 got our limits to take home!

Robbie and his wife did a great job with providing a clean and updated cabin. New fish cleaning station. Made every effort to get our group on fish. Priced right.
