What a delightful surprise! The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean. We chose to stay in the Victorian Rose room. The king bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom were spacious. We chose banana walnut waffles for our made-to-oder breakfast. They were very good. We found the tour of the building and the story of how it was transformed fascinating. Make certain you ask to about it.

The Inn is exquisitely decorated; each room has its own theme and each one is beautiful! There is ample common space to sit and visit, watch videos, or read. The breakfast is very healthy and wonderfully delicious. The owners are more than friendly and eager to make your stay pleasant. Definitely would stay again.

A large country home, quiet and secluded, with huge grounds (private wide hiking trail to their point) but just a minute or two by car from the resort area with its bars/restaurants, and just 12 miles N of Baudette. The family has totally remodeled & expanded the complex; they even made beautiful furniture out of ash trees from the property. Jeanie Ware is something of a Renaissance woman: she makes dolls, & does woodworking, interior design, and anesthesiology! We stayed in the Wilderness room, one of the 4 upstairs rooms, in a very comfy king-sized bed (there's a main floor room as well). The common area upstairs is huge--28 x 47 with big screen TV (many DVDs/videos) & fireplace. At the entryway, the enclosed living-room-like front porch is great for reading (comfy sofa/chai

The rooms were nice and clean, well appointed and comfortable. It was a warm couple of days. House hot when I set the room air, they came in and turned it up so room too hot. I turned it down again. They are not busy in the summer. They turned off dish, so absolutely no TV. Phone service poor, no WiFi or internet. Break fast - powdered eggs and brown and serve sausage with potatoes.||||They should offer a much lower rate in the summer if they don't offer all their amenities.

I have never felt so at home and welcomed into a place as I have here. The women whome own and operate this magnificant retreat are so inviting and helpfull to our needs. This is a must to stay at!! The rooms are so elebrately decorated, with each having its own bathroom. Will most defently be coming back!!! Thank you Jean, Deb and Marcia for making our stay most enjoying!
