You won't find another owner with more gracious customer service. Makes sure all his fisherman are safe in every way. Best day of fishing we had up at Lake of the Woods. 18.5 in Walleye, lots of keeper Sauger and a bonus Perch. Had a great bucket when we left. They will clean them as well with a reasonable fee. Highly recommend!

We've never been treated so poorly by a resort! Owner was very rude and angry. We were staying at the motel to go fishing with family. The gal at the front desk advised we could clean our fish in their fish cleaning room. Cool. So we were there cleaning and Marshal, the owner, comes in and starts chewing our ass for cleaning our fish there. We were all very uncomfortable with his angry outburst! Seems he was upset we did not use the rest of the options offered by the resort but went fishing on our own with family instead. We didn't know this was a requirement as we were told it was ok. He cleaned some fish for us the night before and that was perfectly fine. They also lost our fish bucket that we brought our fish in with and he wouldn't give us one of his for replacement. No

Stayed here the past couple nights and all around was a great experience. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, Tammy at the desk was always very friendly to talk to and book reservation with. Will definitely be staying here in the future!

This is my second year staying with Lake Road Lodge. Both times they have been fantastic, clean rooms , nuce cooking facilities, great fiah cleaning room. It's a great location, owners are very friendly the strive to accommodate. This is a solo get away from the world trophy hunt for me and Lake Road Lodge is ideal. Location is fantastic, 4 minutes to the boat ramp at wheelers, if you want to fish of zippel a park pass and a 10 min drive and your there. See you next year if not sooner.

I will never give this place any business again. Customer service from the male owner is horrible. Beds are rock hard as well. Definitely needs to learn how to treat customers. A lot of better options in the same area for the same cost. Details: I've never met or done business with them before. My Sister and her boyfriend wanted to come up and fish with us but didn't want to stay in our wheelhouse due to bunk beds. I called around and they were the only ones with openings so I booked 1 room for 2 nights. We fished the first day and got in late. I had them clean our fish as it was getting late. We went out to eat and my Sister got back to the room at 10 and couldn't get in. She called Marshall and he was an ass to her saying it's something she's doing wrong. After she stood outside for a h
