Walleye Inn Hotel

Rooms were fine, travelling I'm not in them often. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The water in the shower and bathroom smelled like sulfur and left a weird skin feeling. The vending machines had a bottle of water for almost $3 which was crazy, but the good thing is there is a dollar general right next door for all your needs. Breakfast was good and included. We showed up after hours so had a self check-in which went smooth. Make sure you call ahead if you're going to arrive after 7pm. Walls are kinda thin, I could hear the after hours activities around me on a couple nights.

We had a very lovely time at the Walleye Inn. The staff (Dyson) was exceptional. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Looking forward to our next visit.

Been coming up here for the past few years ice fishing lake of the woods. Amazing service every time!! Rooms are clean, breakfast is great, and everyone is nice and helpful. I want to especially recognize Dyson for helping move our stuff to another room while we went out fishing in the morning! You don’t see people go out of their way like that anymore and he deserves to be thanked! We will be staying here again!

For a town like Baudette, Minnesota; I have absolutely no complaints. Service Desk Worker brought us some breakfast for the morning before some fishing, amazing service.

We stayed here when we were in town for a baby shower. As soon as you walk into the entryway you could smell mold. Nobody at the desk had to ring the bell several times and this was like around 4 pm. Room was small remote didn’t work. Nowhere to put your suitcase or jackets. We stayed 2 nights and only had towels for one night. The water smelled. Pillows were really flat. The breakfast bar had like store bought items in wrappers. They did have sausage, cheese biscuits wrapped up. Watch the employee add more but did not rotate what was in the little fridge. Was not happy with the place at all. If I could have gotten a refund I would have spent 20.00 more for the hotel down the road .
