Waikoloa Beach Resort

Consider every time you want to get to your car from your room in the Oceanview tower, is a 20 minute walk. If you happen to time the tram it takes about the same amount of time when its running a lot of people. We raced it (walking) and won. Only use it if you time it we'll or cant make the walk comfortably. Make the walk on the ocean garden side side its a better view and makes it go quicker. The resort is 20+ minutes from anything outside of the resort village. The front desk staff was nice and helpful. Joseph took care of us and made our back to back booking easy. The sunset views are pretty nice! We had 2 rooms. Both had some cut corners as far as cleanliness but nothing to make us complain or change rooms for. Overall the resort had a comfortable amount of people in it. Not crowded,

Spent the last 3 hours of our vacation here! Snorkling we saw 3 pretty good size turtles, and an awesome sunset! Took quick showers changed into our main land clothes and headed to the airport.

We stayed in a hotel room there. The room was pretty basic. It was nice with a beautiful view of the ocean. There wasn't a microwave in the room. I was pretty disappointed that we had to rent one for 30 dollars when that used to be something you could count on when you stayed somewhere. They didn't even know if they had one available. They don"t have enough for all the rooms, so it's first come, first serve. The restraunts on the resort are very good but outrageously priced. They can't even provide a microwave to heat up your left overs later. The property is beautiful. It was a great place to snorkle. The Luau was a great experience, the dolphins and there were so many pools to choose from. Make sure you have good working Lamberfeeties. There is a tram, but there is still a lot of wal

Great location with a variety of activities for everyone. The lagoon is amazing with a plethora of marine wildlife to see.
