What we booked is not what we arrived to - There is some serious mismanagement and disception here. We booked a beautiful home with private pool with stunning photos of a kitchen and living room walking out to infinity pool with a golf course view for our family vacation with kids. We splurged because it was so beautiful. We arrived to a retirement subdivision home nothing like the photos and with no pool. The neighbour has been yelling at our kids since 5 minutes after exiting the vehicle - they were excited to arrive in Hawai’i and found lizards and were getting each other to come look at them - nothing worth being angry over. There are NO kids here and it is not suitable for us to be booked here, and the scam of selling us one thing then providing another is fraud. The link we have b

I am speechless!! I booked this for my 5th anniversary trip since we go to Hawaii every year and try to go to a different island and get a new experience. The staff has been communicating with me prior, providing plenty of concierge and helpful information, which helped me feel excited and also comfortable with knowing there were people to reach out while there. But it dawned on me, I hadn’t had anything like that during previous trips to other properties. I thought maybe this is just how it starts, but no. The minute we got to the front office, I was met with such warmth and kindness. I couldn’t believe that multiple staff members remembered our anniversary and were waving and smiling. Staying at Mauna Lani Resort is my favorite summer resort vacation. This was my third visit to Mauna Lani Point this year. The staff always greeted me with a smile and welcomed me back. Mauna Lani Beach is just a short distance away. I can't imagine staying anywhere other than Mauna Lani Point.

Clean and well acommodated.|I had none of the problems of previous reviewers.|Extra towels brought out if needed but you need to ask for them the day before as they are not going to stand around 24 hours per day for you. Or you can simpily use the washing, takes only an hour at most and a few minutes to throw your clothes and provided gel detergent you know.|Unfortunately the beautiful resort encroahes and desteoys the natural environment, but i the user is equaliy guilty for paying them to enjoy this resort. Our one bedroom unit is part of Destinations by Hyatt. Only a few units are within Hyatt, so you run the risk of being disappointed or thrilled with your assigned unit. We reserved an ocean view unit on the top floor. We got an available ground floor with very slim ocean view and nice fairways views. After lots of discussion, we were moved after 3 nights to an excellent top floor with great ocean views. The units are owned by someone without much regard for updating furniture or amenities. Both units had well used furnishings and soiled carpets. Hyatt staff does a great job with cleaning but only so much can be done with old stuff. The cost for these units are high, so you expect the owners to provide a high end product.
