voco St. Augustine - Historic Area by IHG

The reception was friendly and informative. Housekeeper was nice. She asked if we needed our room refreshed. The location to St George Street wasn't too far of a walk. Just under a mile to cross the St John's River to reach Saint George street.

This boutique-style hotel is located within walking distance of several excellent restaurants and (most importantly) Whetstone Chocolate. The walk over the bridge and into downtown St. Augustine took under 20 minutes. After our return walk, the charming pool area provided a much-needed cool down. Though there was a lovely bar, we never saw it open, and breakfast service was cancelled. Since the hotel is in an area with lots of dining options, it didn't matter, but it seemed odd. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. We'll be back!

We stayed here on the day after Christmas. It looked like a nice, clean, new hotel. I guess looks can be decieving. Upon arriving I was told there would be a $10 fee to park there. After raising my dissatisfaction, they waived my parking fee. But there would be more to my stay that was very unsatisfory. 1.They charged me a $75 room cleaning fee because I brought my cat. This is the first time I've ever been charged this fee. 2. The room had a sour smell to it. My guess is that they didn't "clean it". I wonder if my fee was used to do that after my stay? 3. The room across the hall has two dogs that barled at every single noise. This went on all night. 4. We had reserved a king sized bed. What we got was two double beds. 5. We sat for almost 15 minutes for the waitress to come take our orde

Wi-Fi doesn't not allow VPN to log in...very inconvenient, moreover if you work remotely. A modern hidden gem! Nicely hidden away from the super busy areas yet close enough to get there. Now they're charging for parking but it can be viewed as reasonable if you intend to walk to the fun rather than suffering it. The bed sheets are divine! Super cozy mattress. Beautiful interiors, nice pool. Note that no room has a bathtub nor is there a spa or jacuzzi...a sauna will be nice. Parking is covered and well lit, although not gated but they generally lock it down late at night. Nice toiletries and very modern yet simple and elegant rooms. Good taste and very affordable for what you get. Breakfast is not crazy expensive but by not including or charging for it in advance you can enjoy bunches arou

The hotel was beautiful but the website and advertisement for the hotel is faults. I paid almost $600 for one standard room two queen beds. The beds were extremely comfortable. That’s the only thing I can say that Match their advertising. On their website, it showed a full bar and a bistro with lots of delicious entrées. When we got to the hotel, they did not have a liquor license so no bar zero alcohol. And there was no bistro that served food at all. They only serve breakfast. I would never have paid almost $600 for a hotel without a bar or a restaurant. That was the whole reason I picked the hotel. Definitely not worth the money. False advertisement!
