Lions and Lanterns

What an incredible find! We were lucky there was a room available for a last minute stay. I have never seen an inn with a consistent 5 star rating. And now I see why! The description was spot on! We stayed in the Pax room and it was so cozy. You can tell there was a lot of attention and detail put into this room—the walls are dark and moody in the best possible way. Love the leather pillows on the bed and funky lights. The bathroom is beautiful with an enormous walk in shower. The location is absolutely perfect. The house is on a quiet and beautiful tree lined street and it’s a five minute walk to St George’s Street, A1A and boardwalk and lots of shops and restaurants. We LOVED this place and highly recommend it!

Enjoyed our stay in the Castillo room at Lions & Lanterns. Nicely appointed room, spacious and luxurious. They didn't skimp on the toiletries, towels, bathmat and robes. Nice sized refrigerator. Could have been a nicer selection of k-cups. Four chairs throughout the room. I had been expecting a traditional B&B experience where you check-in with the host, but instead it is a self check-in, entering the room from the front porch rather than going into a full common area in the house. I didn't mind the extra privacy! Location was quiet during our visit. The Castillo room is at the front of the house. We had an easy walk to the main tourist area of the historic part of town. What a hidden gem! Located within good walking distance from most things, we truly enjoyed our time at Lions and Lanterns. The Inn is located in a quiet neighborhood with-in walking distance to bike rentals, restaurants, local attractions with the price of the room very reasonable. Our room was clean, modern and very comfortable and the owners had some added touches like coffee, creamer and water. They even had couples conversation cards and special stationary so that we can write each other a note to be mailed to us a year from our stay. I would highly recommend staying here!

We truly loved our stay at Lions and Lanterns. From the moment we arrived, everything felt simple and easy. The communication was clear and helpful, and we felt taken care of before we even got there. Our room was warm, cozy, and just felt right. The whole property has such a calm, relaxed energy. We loved sitting in the front garden reading and winding down by the fire pit in the evenings. It felt peaceful but never isolated. The location is ideal. We walked everywhere downtown and only drove when we headed to the beach. It is close to everything but just far enough from the busy areas to actually relax at the end of the day. They gave great local recommendations and checked in to make sure we had what we needed, which meant a lot. We left already talking about when we can come back. H

We had the best impromptu trip here! Like many of the other reviews stated it's the perfect location. Very quiet street but just a short walk to the main drag in town. The check-in and check-out process was easy and seamless almost like an airbnb and the restaurant recommendations were fantastic! We went to two spots and both were superb. Fantastic find for a short trip :)
