Anastasia State Park Coquina Loop

Great place near St. Augustine FL to relax and unwind with the friends and family and spend precious times together! This state park has it all and, as every state park in FL, offers free annual passes to disabled veterans and first responders! Swing by this awesome park and explore natural Florida at its best, just be sure to avoid the alligators that are seen sunbathing on banks.

Incredible beach. You can literally walk for kilometers without seeing anyone. The campground is nice and shaded. The site are a bit close to each others but in most cases, if you’re lucky enough to get responsible and respectful neighbors, it won’t be a problem!

We went down to check out the facilities for future visits. They have a variety of sites from small to fairly large and they have water and power but no waste connection there is a dump station and a large garbage dumpster by entrance to camping area.

Beautiful park, like all the Florida State parks ! Would give five Stars if they would gravel the sites😁

This is a wonderful, large state park with a great beach and facilities. Lifeguards on duty. There is a snack bar, all types of activity rentals available and WiFi if needed. It’s close to all pints of interest in St.Augustine. As for the campground, we had one of the best campsites in the Coquina Loop., plenty of cover, shade with the sun peeking in. Basically all sites are similar and private. In close proximity are nature trails which were nice to walk. Restroom facilites and showers are functional and were clean but pretty worn and in need of a facelift. This seems to be the case with other Florida parks we’ve visited. Hopefully some improvements can be made in the near future. Hence, the one star reduction. But overall this State park is a great park, we’ll be back!
