Vista LIC Hotel, Premier Collection by Best Western

I got a great room on the 9th floor with a view of Manhattan. Clean and warm. Friendly receptionist. The area has cheap and excellent delis and restaurants, one just on the corner. The hotel is near the metro, which takes you to Manhattan in 10 minutes.

I grew up in Queens NY, so I know it like the back of my hand; years ago I moved to FL, and as much as I love it, I always miss home. When I want visit back home to see family and friends, this is definitely one of the best places to stay. It its centrally locate, close to public transportation, minutes from the city, Astoria, Flushing Meadow park and in the heart of Queens. The hotel is esthetically pleasing, clean and has very nice and friendly staff and you can't beat the price. It has the convenience of a restaurant downstairs and a rooftop bar with a beautiful view. We absolutely love this place, so if you're looking for a place to stay when visiting New York, look no further The Vista LIC Hotel is it.

Positive: definitely the balcony on 7th floor. view was great. the restaurant/lounge upstairs has great view as well, above the 7th floor expanded view - didn't get a chance to go. room was clean, bed was comfy. staff was nice and professional. good location. Negative: ""

I knew that when the blizzard of Feb 2026 was forecast I was keeping my existing travel plans. I was in good hands. Ive stayed at Vists LIC before and had built-in trust for their service, cleanliness and convenience. Rooms are cleverly laid out with slide away desktop, Coffee station and hassocks. Bathroom is spacious and hot water plentiful. Any negative aspects Ive read here can be remedied with common sense, kind communication and appropriate expectations for this reasonably priced gem of a hotel. Love it.

For starters, Rami was extremely welcoming and so professional at the front desk. My husband and I came for a romantic weekend and the stay was amazing. The rooms are beautiful and the rooftop bar that Rami suggested was beautifully decorated and the bartender was fantastic. So glad we chose this hotel and would definitely book again
