We stayed here on a Monday night in mid-November and decided only the day before to move our stay to this hotel, rather than another that we had booked close by. Ultimately we will never know if we made the correct decision, but we wouldn’t rush back to this hotel.||First of all, the positives: |- Even the basic room here are large and spacious, especially when you compare them to Manhattan room sizes. If you travel with a lot of luggage then this is a good option. |- The rooms come with a kitchen area, so if you prefer to cook for yourself this is ideal.|- There is a Dunkin’ Donuts a few metres away from the front door - I am a big DD fan so this worked for me. |- There is a Subway station very close by that goes directly to Manhattan in a few stops. |- The rates can be competitive, espec

I've stayed here twice now- once in nicer weather and once after the big storm at the beginning of 2026, both times on business trips. In both cases I found the hotel staff friendly, the room clean and comfortable, and all the amenities I needed either in the room or easily accessible. I spent a day working from the room this past trip and found the desk setup to be great, and the chair comfortable enough for a day of work. Really like the patio on the 7th floor- no one is ever out there and it's a nice place to sit and drink coffee in the morning. I actually walked to Manhattan- a bit of a hike but doable without much trouble (across the Queensborough bridge). This hotel was actually better than expected! The location is a block away from the subway and 3 miles from Manhattan. I was lucky to find free street parking because the hotel parking is very limited (only 12 spots) costs were $550 for 3 nights. Deposit was $50/night and refunded after 24hrs. The rooms were a great size considering it being NY, they were also fully equipped to make me feel right at home. I will definitely book again next time I’m in New York. I do wish I would’ve had a better view of the city line.

I stayed with my 7 year old daughter for 5 nights in January 2025. From the time I entered to the time I left it was an awesome experience. Front desk staff warm, professional, caring and helpful. The room was beyond my expectation. Wonderful view. Hotel very close to train station that gets you most places with an easy connect when necessary. Will definitely stay there again.

Positive: The staff were wonderful, the room was well appointed, and the included breakfast had a huge variety of options. The location is conveniently near the subway stop. Negative: No, everything was terrific.
