Great deal, comfy rooms and easy acces. Glad I chose this. Surprisingly seamless stay considering new ownership Was only on day 2 when I arrived. Management and staff, when around we’re accommodating and kind. Rooms were clean, amenities unexpectedly high end and rooms Comfortable and well equipped. Housekeepers showed up with a mini fridge within 2 minutes when I asked to store something in the hotel’s fridge. Great service!. It was a bit unnerving when I did need something and there was no staff on the grounds. Perhaps a text line would be helpful for after hours questions or needs. Neighborhood doesn’t have a lot to offer in the immediate vicinity but extremely easy access to the city. I was at 42nd street in under 20 minutes. Extremely Good value for money in New York. I will definite
I stayed here for a week in July 2025 and would happily recommend this hotel. The room was large enough and comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful - and there was always someone on hand in Reception if needed. There are three terraces, including two with great views of the Manhattan skyline and offering both sunny and shady spots. On our last night, which was July 4th, staff organised a party on the terrace to watch fireworks and decorated the hotel to celebrate. Lockers for luggage were helpful as we could leave our suitcases and head into the city after checking out as we had a few hours spare before an evening flight. There were also supplies freely available if you needed fresh towels, more tea or coffee and so on.||Pre-arrival registration was easily done via the app with
The Dutch Hotel is overall a cute, modern hotel with a great view. However, some logistical issues affected my rating. I needed to extend my stay by a few days, and when I asked the concierge, I was informed that on their end, it was literally impossible to edit or extend a guest’s booking and that I would need to call Marriott’s main line. I was then informed by the Marriott representative that she could not extend my booking, and that I would have to make an entirely separate booking for the same room for the few extra days I would be staying. As part of this process, I needed to go through the entire Sonder ID verification process again, as well as be given a new room passcode. I was also charged a new booking fee for just wanting to extent my stay. Additionally, since the start of my
This hotel is excellent. After reading negative reviews I was a bit worried but they don’t reflect the experience I had. You won’t get anything like this for the price in Manhattan. Positives: - the front desk was excellent (shout out to Megan, who got us into our room early and was super friendly throughout) - walkability to restaurants was great - the room was extremely spacious, clean, and had great views - common areas were great, with a Keurig and water, plates, cups, and plastic wear (for hosting people) - luggage lockers were spacious and FREE - we didn’t use the outdoor spaces but they were clean and spacious Negatives: - the doors allowed a lot of noise and the hallways weren’t carpeted but this was NOT a problem at night, it was quiet - the elevator was pretty slow 🤣 - bed was
Pros: Great value hotel with clean rooms at a good size of space. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. And WiFi worked well. They have a rooftop patio with a great view of the city. There’s a lounge at the bottom floor with locker storage available for your bags. Staff was very helpful and very nice as well. Only a 6 minute walk to the nearest metro stations, restaurants, and bars in the area. Cons: You can hear every/any noise from the hallway into your room. There’s only one elevator and it moves slow when they’re busy.
