Visions Inn

The room was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable for sleeping. The room we stayed in was located upstairs. We had the A room. It was clean. We didn't turn on any of the TVs, so I can't comment on that. It was nice and quiet. The WiFi connection wasn't very strong. I couldn't get on to some of the applications on my phone. It was nice and quiet. We chose this place because it was close to the Hall of Fame and we could walk around without having to drive and park at a meter.

Nice basic room however a few issues. Check-in and check-out is at another building about a 5 minute walk away which make it a bit inconvenient. No air conditioning controls as this is centrally regulated. TV has horrible reception.

Its literally is up the block! The rooms are clean and the furniture is comfy and homey. I stayed for two nights and was very comfortable there. This inn (literally 3 or four rooms in an old barn style home) is run by a hotel/motel that is down the road so you do have to check in elsewhere. The only con was that the bathroom door was made of glass and easy see through - keep in mind if you're rooming with someone you don't want to see naked! lol. I also got a great deal online. Planning on visiting the BHOF again this year, will definitely stay again.

This was our second trip through Cooperstown. We actually visited the Baseball Hall of Fame this time! (which is well worth the price of admission). Visions Inn is owned by those who run the Lake Front Hotel. To check in, you must drive to the Lakefront to pay and get your rooms keys, then drive up the street to the Visions Inn. It's a 5 min walk. There are 3 rooms there, each with a parking space. To check out, you have to return the keys to Lake Front. The room was large, the bed was only OK. The bathroom is tiny and there is a small fridge in the corner. I have a pet peeve with the temperature "being set for your comfort". All the thermostats were locked. It was like a meat locker in the hallway between the two rooms on the second floor (where no one goes except to enter their room) but

We really liked these accommodations! Different from regular hotel room...very large! We had a king sized bed and it was very comfortable. Towels were a bit scratchy but other than that we were very pleased.
