The White House Inn

If you want a charming, personable place with real character and genuine hospitality, this is one of Cooperstown’s best small-inn experiences. It feels like staying in a friend’s home — with great breakfast conversations and a super-central location — rather than just checking into a room. The occasional quirky room feature or old-house charm just adds to the story, not takes away from it.

My wife and I stayed for three nights and had a wonderful time. Ed and his staff were very friendly and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. We stayed in the Waiting Room which was super clean and just like we expected and actually a bit more roomier than we expected. Nice breakfast along with sweet fresh fruit. Walking distance to the Hall of Fame and our favorite restaurant Mel's. Something added was the fact that many family members of Hall of fame inductees stay there and then the inductees join the families there for a BBQ and sign the wall. Thanks again, Bill and Dee

We absolutely loved the White Inn!||This was our first trip to Cooperstown, and we chose this bed and breakfast mainly because of the pool and the close proximity to the Base Ball Hall of Fame. It turned out to be a delightful place to stay. I appreciated the 8:30 breakfast time, as I enjoy being lazy in the mornings; it motivated me to get dressed early, allowing us to start our day sooner. It is a short walk to the Baseball Hall of Fame. ||The B&B was very nice, and the other guests at the breakfast table were quite chatty. During our meal, we gathered a lot of valuable information from them.|The inn was clean, neat, and inviting. The air conditioning worked well, and the breakfast and coffee were enjoyable. The staff was wonderful. I truly don’t have any complaints. ||We look forward to

The nicest people run this inn, and if you don't believe me check out the testimonials from the BBHOF members whose pictures are in their amazing photo gallery. The rooms are spacious and very charming, the breakfast was delicious every morning, and the location can't be beat - a short walk to Main Street. Free parking as well. Oh, and I forgot a shirt that had a special sentimental value to me at the inn, and they made sure it got back to me - at their expense. What more could you ask for?

We had a wonderful two-night stay. The innkeeper and staff were warm and welcoming. Our room, The Green Room, was clean and comfortable. The two breakfasts we had were delicious. It's a very easy walk to Main Street shopping and the Baseball Hall of Fame. The Inn itself has alot of baseball memorabilia to check out. I would definitely stay here again.
