The Phoenix Inn

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a VRBO rental with several other families. The location was great for anyone with kids playing at the Cooperstown Dreams Park facility, as it is only 5 minutes away.||However, much better maintenance of this property is needed. While we realize this is quite an old building, the condition of the interior can be improved significantly. Paint is chipping in many places, random nails are coming out of walls and the floors are very uneven. ||The worst part is, at night, the house gets full of flying insects. While in this part of the country, it's understandable that some insects will be found, the amount in here was ridiculous and it is caused by the owners not properly maintaining the building and also not installing their A/C units properly (leaving ve

Part of our baseball team stayed at the Phoenix Inn while the boys were played at Dreams Park. It was the perfect place! Very close to the park, plenty of room for our large group, even when the boys came to stay for a night. The property had everything we needed. Plenty of linens, paper towels, toilet paper, and a fully furnished kitchen. Jason, the landlord was extremely helpful our entire stay. He answered all of our questions and gave us recommendations of things to do locally. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a group of 8 so we rented the whole Inn. It was so cute! It's obvious that the owner has taken a lot of time and effort to make it beautiful and inviting. It's got the charm and character of an old house with modern amenities and nicely renovated bathrooms and kitchen. We had a great stay- my 6 year old daughter declared that she was going to move there! :) We will definitely be looking up the Phoenix Inn again if we are ever lucky enough to come back to Cooperstown.

My girlfriend and I stopped by randomly after a hike at OK Slip falls. We were impressed. The place was clean and organized. The staff was attentive and friendly. We sat at a beautiful table in a garden courtyard. The barbecue ribs were amazing, maybe the best I’ve ever had! My girlfriend’s chix ceasar salad was fresh and crisp. We will defiantly go back

We stayed with two other families for our Cooperstown baseball week. We were allowed to check in a little early, which was nice. Emily was very pleasant. Place was clean and conveniently located to Cooperstown Dreams Park. It was odd having the owners living in the same house while we were there. Advertisement stated they lived on the grounds, not in the house. We found it awkward and difficult to relax at times with them staying in the house.
