The Otesaga Resort Hotel

We stayed with my wife for 3 nights just for a break. We had a Suite with Lake view. The room was great although the heating was slow to warm the space. We asked for extra blankets that solved the problem. The TV was totally infuriating so we gave up. The staff were great all together.As an advice or heads up to future visitors , make sure when you ask for reservations to either the Hawkeye or the 1909, INSIST on the time you want to dine and do not take any other times they give you. We asked for 6pm and 6,30pm respectively and they "were fully booked". We took the hours they gave us and we were eating alone. We complained and the manager came profusely apologizing but that didn't help. Unfortunately that left a bitter taste to us, so we decided not to eat there again and found other ver

Our stay at the Otesaga was wonderful from start to finish! From the amazing staff, to the delicious food, we really enjoyed the stay. It was my husband's 40th birthday and every single staff member we encountered, wished him a happy birthday. Really top notch service! The room was clean and spacious with a beautiful view of the frozen lake. We are so happy we booked here!

This past fall, I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at The Otesaga Resort Hotel. The Otesaga's exceeded my expectations! The staff was excellent, the food was amazing, and the location was the perfect backdrop for this couple to become husband and wife. I would recommend this venue to anyone who loves the history of Cooperstown, the unique charm of the hotel, and anyone who wants an amazing wedding experience.
