Love a repurposed shipping container! Very well-appointed, peaceful spot near the heart of Alpine and about a 2-hr to the western entrance to Big Bend NP. Hot shower, well-stocked kitchen and an incredibly comfortable firm mattress. Beautiful temperature this time of year that no AC or heat is needed, so it would have been nice to be able to open a window if possible. The starry skies were positively incredible!

I rarely give 5 stars, but this place deserves 6 stars, the places are awesome. It's small and cozy with all the amenities you need. Super clean and whomever designed this place did a great job. The instructions and the checking up on us to see if we needed anything was nice. We will most definitely be a repeat guest.

I hope I’m reviewing the right place. I stayed here in Alpine and I’m so glad we chose to stay here. These shipment container homes were impeccable and I could tell the staff really cared about the place. It was very clean and homely and they even had a welcome sign for us complete with a guest book. The owners responded quickly and town was only 10 minutes away from us. I want to come back here for my honeymoon. The rooftop was beautifully lit and we were far enough from the neighbors that their lights and noises didn’t bother us nor ours them. We had a great view from the rooftop and appreciated the chairs and tables they provided along with glassware and cooking ware. 10/1000000 I recommend

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im VillaStay New The Cowboy Boots – Shipping Container Home in Alpine! Die Unterkunft ist etwas ganz Besonderes – kreativ gestaltet, modern ausgestattet und gleichzeitig gemütlich. Viel Liebe zum Detail wurde in dieses außergewöhnliche Konzept gesteckt. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die Kombination aus rustikalem Charme und modernem Komfort. Alles war sehr sauber, gut organisiert und durchdacht. Die Lage in Alpine ist perfekt, um die Ruhe der Natur zu genießen, einfach mal abzuschalten, oder als Basis zum Besuch des Big Bend Nationalparks. Die Kommunikation mit Gastgeberin Jessica war unkompliziert und freundlich, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
